I really like 2 and 3. I think Professor Joe was right about taking out the tabs. I like the clean look with the name in the shape. It would be interesting if you add images or illustration in the background of that color shaped. Good Job
I like the feel of the layout so far. I believe the "word" inside the wave works the best out of all the title treatments. The tabs on the side seem to be cohesive with the piece.
